COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Buc-ee’s is expanding its footprint in Ohio with plans to open a second location in the state.
The Texas-based travel center chain announced a new store will be built in Mansfield after receiving approval from the Mansfield City Council.
The new Buc-ee’s is expected to open in 2028 near the intersection of Interstate 71 and State Route 39.
Plans call for a 74,000-square-foot travel center that will employ more than 175 people. Starting pay is expected to begin at $18 per hour.
