HOWELL TOWNSHIP, N.J. ( WPIX) — A pet food retailer headquartered in Adelphia, New Jersey, is recalling multiple products due to a potential listeria contamination, according to an FDA notice.
More than 400,000 pounds of affected products were sold by Raaw Energy, LLC, in several states, including New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Hampshire, and Virginia.
The food in question was produced between July 17, 2025, and December 23, 2025, as well as another batch that was produced on March 31, 2026.
You can see a full list of the nearly 60 different types of pet food here on the FDA’s website.
If you find that you’ve bought one of these products, the FDA is advising that you dispose of the food in a secure container that animals cannot get into. You should also clean and disinfect any bowls, storage containers, utensils, or anything that the food may have touched.
As of May 21, Raaw Energy has temporarily stopped production of all pet food.
