Fourth of July weekend may be behind us, but that doesn't mean that summer barbecues are coming to an end. In fact, between graduation parties, World Cup watch parties, and, of course, the finale to summer, Labor Day weekend, backyard potlucks are only just getting started.

Already this year, we've seen plenty of new hot dogs hitting store shelves—from Ball Park's Bun Size Jalapeño Beef Franks Hot Dogs to Nathan's 100 Percent Grass-Fed Beef Franks. However, while your hot dog choices might feel overwhelming, we don't frequently see new launches in the hot dog bun aisle.

If you're lucky, your store might have a choice of white buns, potato rolls, or Brioche buns—but those three don't compare to the endless hot dog and sausage options we have. However, we're about to see major innovation in hot dog buns from an unexpected brand. Pringles is bringing the flavor to your glizzy with three first-of-their-kind hot dog buns.

Pringles

Pringles has never been one to shy away from unique flavor opportunities—even dabbling in sausage flavors with its previously released Loaded Hot Dog chips and its Miller Lite Beer Brat collab. Now, the brand is releasing first-of-their-kind hot dog buns inspired by some of the most popular Pringles flavors.

The new Pringles Pop Dog Buns are potato-based buns that are made to fit inside a Pringles can, measuring 7.5 inches long. That means they're slightly longer than a traditional hot dog bun, which is usually six inches, but not quite as long as a jumbo hot dog bun, which is usually eight inches.

The buns are infused with three Pringles-inspired flavors, including Sour Cream & Onion, BBQ, and Honey Mustard, that will instantly add mouthwatering flavor to your hot dog even before the condiments and toppings.

The Sour Cream & Onion, BBQ, and Honey Mustard Pop Dog Buns are all packaged inside special, limited-edition Pringles cans. However, despite their classic Pringles packaging, these Pop Dog Buns won't be sold in stores.

Instead, the Pringles Pop Dog Buns will be available exclusively online for free with the purchase of a Pringles three-pack. At 2 p.m. EST on July 8 and 15 (National Hot Dog Day), when you purchase a $6.97 three-pack of Pringles Sour Cream & Onion, Pringles Honey Mustard, and Pringles BBQ crisps on OnceYouPopMarket.com or on Pringles’ Instagram and Facebook Shops, you'll also receive the Pringles Pop Dog Buns, while supplies last.

You'll have to act fast if you want to try Pringles' new Pop Dog Buns—but the savory hot dog creations you can make with Sour Cream & Onion-, Honey Mustard-, and BBQ-flavored buns will be worth it.
