A BELOVED department store has unleashed a major expansion – with 12 new stores set to open in August.
Bargain fashion retailer Burlington’s is sweeping the nation with 32 grand openings in the next two months.

Bargain hunters from Oregon to Florida will be able to nab cheap deals on everything from home decor and beauty products to women’s fashion and baby clothes.

Burlington’s will also launch new sites at Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and Wisconsin.

The department store has more than 1,000 locations across the United States.

The openings form part of a mission to launch more than 100 stores by the end of 2026.

Burlington CEO Michael O’Sullivan revealed the new stores will boast a “new and improved store design”.
He said: “We look forward to giving shoppers the chance to explore great savings, find fresh brands, and experience our new and improved store design no matter where they live.”
The refreshed format includes wider, more organized aisles and bold signage, “making it easier than ever for shoppers to find the brands and must-have trends they know and love,” according to a press release.
It follows a wave of new openings in May with Burlington opening stores in a whopping 26 new locations.
The popular retailer has experienced massive growth over the past few years, amid many other brick and mortar stores closing their doors.

The off-price seller reported steady growth in sales from $9.7 billion in 2023 to $10.6 billion in 2024 and $11.5 billion in 2025, according to the company.
