June 25 (Reuters) - Merck KGaA (MRCG.DE), opens new tab has ​agreed to acquire ‌biotech firm Bio-Techne Corp (TECH.O), opens new tab ​for $73 per ​share in cash, ⁠the German ​science and ​healthcare firm said in a statement ​on ​Thursday.

The offer price, representing ‌a ⁠total enterprise value of around $11.3 billion, represents ​a ​36% ⁠premium on Bio-Techne's ​one-month volume ​weighted ⁠average share price, Merck ⁠said.
