(WJW) — A Mega Millions ticket purchased in the Sunshine State has hit the jackpot!
According to lottery officials, a ticket-holder in Florida matched all six numbers in the July 28 drawing to win an estimated $800 million ($344.2 million cash).
The winning numbers were: 34, 48, 49, 59 and 70, plus Mega Ball 12.
In a media release, officials said the big win is only the third Mega Millions jackpot won so far this year, it’s also the tenth largest jackpot in the game’s history.
The jackpot was last won on St. Patrick’s Day in Ohio. As FOX 8 previously reported, the $60 million wining lottery ticket was sold at Tyler’s Short Stop Van Wert and later claimed by the “Happy Trails Trust.”
The Mega Millions now resets to a starting value of $50 million. The next drawing is on Friday, July 31.
