Six players won at least $1 million, but there was no winner of the $719 million Powerball jackpot for the Aug. 1 drawing. That means the drawing on Monday, Aug. 3 will be worth $748 million, with a cash option of $325.1 million.
Monday’s estimated jackpot sits just outside the top-10 largest prizes in Powerball history. If ticket sales exceed expectation, the grand prize could crack that list.

Powerball winners for Aug. 1:
- While there was no grand prize winner, six tickets sold matched all five white balls to win a $1 million prize. Those tickets were sold in California (3x), Maryland, Texas and Virginia.
- The player in Virginia also played the Power Play option, which increased their winnings to $2 million. That was the largest prize won.
- A total of 1,375,146 tickets won at least $4 in the drawing. Players won a combined $18,696,441 in prizes.

The last time the Powerball jackpot was won came on May 2 when a player in Florida and a player in Texas split the $20 million jackpot.
Powerball drawings take place every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday night at 10:59 p.m. ET. Tickets cost $2 each.
Powerball is offered in 45 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands and the U.K. Players select five white numbers from 1 to 69 and one red ball from 1 to 26. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 292 million.
