Someone won a $1 million Powerball prize in Michigan Saturday

No one won the big Powerball jackpot on Saturday but a lucky person in Michigan matched five numbers to win $1 million, according to the Michigan Lottery.

The winning numbers in the Saturday night drawing for the $600 million jackpot were 47, 3, 36, 4, 24, and the Powerball was 17.

The winning Powerball ticket was bought at Basel Oil,153 S 3rd St., Rogers City.

In Powerball, players choose five numbers between 1 and 69 for the white balls and pick one number between 1 and 26 for the red Powerball, according to powerball.com. Someone wins the jackpot when they match all five white balls in any order and the red Powerball.

The next drawing takes place Monday at 10:59 p.m., and the estimated jackpot is $633 million.
