Yen strengthens as investors watch for more intervention signals
The Japanese yen strengthened 0.19% to 157.41 against the dollar on Wednesday.

"The yen has already recovered a meaningful portion of its previous underperformance against other Asian currencies, including the Korean won. If intervention continues, the yen could strengthen further against the U.S. dollar," he wrote in a note on Wednesday.
A longer campaign could support additional yen gains although markets remain skeptical that intervention alone can engineer a lasting reversal, Chung added.
