US stock futures pulled back on Wednesday amid signs that US-Iran peace talks have hit a new snag, as investors looked ahead to jobs data key to setting expectations for interest-rate hikes.
Dow Jones Industrial Average futures (YM=F) slid 0.2% on the heels of another record-high close, while those on S&P 500 (ES=F) also edged down 0.2%. Contracts on the tech-heavy Nasdaq 100 (NQ=F) dropped 0.5%, having jumped Tuesday as chip stocks continued to climb.

Investors will receive fresh insight into the labor market with the release of the June jobs report on Thursday, capping the holiday-shortened week. The data will provide clues about the Federal Reserve's next move, including whether a rate hike later this year remains on the table.
