MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two Memphis hospitals made the 37th edition of U.S. News & World Report’s Best Hospitals list for the 2026-2027 year.
Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis ranked #1 in Memphis and #2 compared to the other hospitals in the state of Tennessee.
Methodist Hospitals of Memphis followed behind, ranking #2 in Memphis but tied for third place alongside two other hospitals in the state of Tennessee.

This year’s edition included analyses of 810 million hospital visits. Annually, U.S. News’ Best Hospitals study evaluates about 4,500 hospitals.
